Kelsang Home Stay - Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Kelsang Home Stay in Naga, Hanle, Ladakh. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking or staying at our property.
1. Booking Policy
- All bookings are subject to availability.
- A valid government-issued ID proof is required at the time of check-in.
- Guests must be at least 18 years old to book a stay.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 15 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made 7-14 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival.
- In case of early departure, no refund will be provided for unused nights.
3. Check-in/Check-out
- Check-in time: 1:00 PM
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4. Payment
- Full payment may be required at the time of booking or upon arrival.
- We accept cash (Indian Rupees) and major credit/debit cards.
- Foreign nationals must pay in Indian Rupees as per government regulations.
5. Guest Responsibilities
- Guests are responsible for any damage to property caused by them during their stay.
- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only in designated areas.
- Respect local customs and traditions - Hanle is a sensitive border area.
6. Restrictions
- Due to our high-altitude location (4,500m+), guests with serious medical conditions are advised to consult a doctor before traveling.
- Photography of military installations is strictly prohibited.
- Drones are not permitted without prior permission from local authorities.
7. Liability
- Kelsang Home Stay is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises.
- We are not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings.
- In case of natural disasters or political unrest, we will assist guests but cannot guarantee complete safety.
8. Special Conditions for Hanle
- Hanle is located in a restricted border area. Foreign nationals require an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to visit.
- Mobile network connectivity is limited - BSNL works best in this region.
- Power cuts are frequent - we recommend carrying power banks.
